The exhibition Dreams on Canvas in Museum Gouda presented a comprehensive collection of paintings of 19th century French artist Henri Fantin-Latour. The paintings were divided in three groups; portraits, still-lives and ‘dreams’. The aim of the exhibition design was to emphasize the place and time in which the artist lived and created his work.
For the exhibition, Museum Gouda chose our Plain Sofa to create an interactive experience where visitors can watch art in combination with music. This lets visitors experience the artwork more intensely.
